Hi! We’re the two sisters behind Viva Café AZ, and we wanted to personally share how this home-based café came to life here in Laveen, Arizona.
Viva Café began as more than just a business idea, it was a dream inspired by our culture, our family, and the moments that bring people together. Coffee has always meant more to us than just a drink. It reminds us of the early mornings and late nights where our family would gather around the table, sharing stories, laughter, and conversation with a warm cup of coffee, two spoons of sugar, and a pan dulce sitting right beside us. Those simple moments became part of who we are, and they inspired the feeling we wanted Viva Café to bring to others.
We’ve always been drawn to coffee culture, not just the drinks themselves, but the warmth, comfort, and connection they create. That feeling of togetherness is what inspired us to create Viva Café right here at home.
As two young sisters with big dreams, we knew we had to do more than just talk about what we wanted to build, we had to work for it. From experimenting with flavors, studying ingredients, learning about business, and carefully designing every menu item, Viva Café was built cup by cup with passion, creativity, and many late nights.
“Viva” means “to live,” and that’s exactly what this café represents to us, living boldly, appreciating every moment, and celebrating culture, community, and connection. Every order is more than just a drink, it’s a piece of our story and a reminder that dreams can become reality when they’re built with love and purpose.
Running Viva Café as teen sisters has taught us so much about hard work, creativity, hospitality, and believing in ourselves. Even though we’re young, we’re serious about quality, flavor, and creating an experience that makes people feel welcomed, appreciated, and at home.
